This mural, which is featured on a wall in the synagogue’s lobby, was commissioned by OYRT-Beth Am as a permanent memorial to our three Torah Scrolls and to the legacy of the martyred Jews of their towns. It depicts the three Czech towns from which our Torahs originated and their journey to our synagogue. The design was created and crafted by local artist Murrie Gayman. It has more than 100 individually shaped pieces of wood and painted figures. The Louny and Tábor Torahs are replicas. The Svêtlá Torah in the center of the mural is housed in a Plexiglas case. The mural was dedicated in June 2022.
